ABOUT THE STUDIO

Today more than ever, we are losing connection with our body and personal needs of mind and soul. Living fast, stressed, with habits that create wrong movement patterns, we suffer more and more because we are missing awareness. We created Pilates & Yoga Motion to help you to regain the control of your body and give it a new live through motion. With joy and passion, we share our knowledge about the healing motion, not only for the body, but also for the mind, leaving people more energized, balanced and self-confident.

All our instructors are certified. It ensures to clients a connection with professionals that understand the philosophy of their art. The alignment of clients' goals and our methodology is the foundation of our success. We ask our clients to inform us directly when they feel that their goals are not aligned with our service.

ABOUT PILATES

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates.

It is a system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility and posture while enhancing mental awareness.

Pilates can be modified to provide either a gentle strength training program or a challenging workout. Pilates for beginners is giving you the basis of Pilates with the vocabulary while strengthening yourself. Pilates all levels is adapted to challenge yourself and build stamina with diversified exercises. Pilates advanced is the most challenging class and will tone you up for sure. Small equipment like magic circle, elastic bands and soft balls might be used during Pilates all levels and advanced.

ABOUT YOGA

During challenging times, I believe we should work with our physical body but also with our mind and emotions to restore balance and focus in our live. The practice of Yoga will help you during this journey that is life.

​

Hatha Yoga will balance your energy. It is a physical and emotional workout. Breathing exercises and meditation are an essentials parts of Hatha Yoga. They help to ground yourself in the present.

​

Fire Yoga is a more dynamic practice of Yoga that is perfect for morning or lunch time, as it raises the heat in your body and releases the stagnations restoring your flow.

Juana Benevides

Juana is from the northeast of Brazil, where she graduated with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy and trained as a Pilates teacher.

​

She discovered the Pilates method in her the last year at university and was immediately in love! Since then, 2012, she’s working as a Pilates teacher and had her own studio before moving to Luxembourg in 2017.

​

She complemented her education with a workshop of Classical Mat Pilates with Benjamin Degenhardt, Recife, Brazil, in 2016 and with a workshop about Pilates and Pregnancy in 2020.

​

She’s passionate about moving, either with Pilates or dancing or practicing acroyoga. She likes photography, food and music as well.

Anna Occhipinti

Anna was a dancer and discovered Pilates more than 15 years ago. It was love at first sight! She could immediately feel and enjoy the Pilates method benefits.

​

As she became more and more passionate about the method, she started studying the core muscles and how much they help people in their everyday life and can as well improve their sport performances.

​

During her classes she shares her enthusiasm and always puts some creativity to the classic Pilates movements.

 

She loves to use small equipment to challenge the core muscles.
